Lanvin Spring 2011

This collection was beyond amazing. The way that pleated dress moved on Frida whilst she was conquering the runway when she opened the show was breath-taking. It followed by a one shoulder belted pleated black dress which was beautifully made. And those interesting dresses that were half one no sleeve jersey and the other half was pleated satin that was draped around the shoulder were so chic and also dresses that I never seen before. Those embellished tops which were paired with embellished over the knee skirts were also jaw-dropping moments. What I thought was most intriguing about this collection was that Alber decided to use mostly sandals instead of a heels. In my opinion that's perfectly acceptable since this is a spring collection after all. All in all bravo to Alber Elbaz for another amazing collection for the house of Lanvin.
